Tan removal cream walmart

Tan removal cream walmart

Tan removal cream walmart
What I hate the most is when my self-tanning cream starts to wash off. Then I have spots on some parts of my body and it just doesn’t look beautiful tanned skin anymore. Thank goodness there are products on the market like tan removal cream.
Summertime is when we all want a little more beautiful tanned skin. Unfortunately, some girls do not get as beautiful tanned skin as we would like, therefore, just like me, we use self-tanning creams or foams or sprays. I also know girls who use self-tanning cream because they don’t want to be overly exposed to the sun. Let’s not forget that using a self-tanner is the only natural way to get tanned skin.
Finding the right self-tanning cream is very difficult as it suits each individual differently. I myself also aimed to ensure that the cream does not leave stains on the bed or clothes, that it does not wash off quickly and crucially that it does not leave marks on the body. I bought quite a few self-tanning creams before I found the right one. My skin is naturally pale, so self-tanning sprays are part of my annual routine. Applying self-tanning cream is not difficult, but you should always use the product when you have good light and you need to be careful on parts of the body that are a little more inaccessible to really coat everything with cream/spray or foam.
How I self – tan:
1. 24 hours before applying the self-tanning cream, I do a body scrub and remove all the hair on the body. I also avoid using deodorants and perfumes.
2. I make sure that I take a shower and dry my body well before applying the self-tanning cream.
3. I use a cream to moisturize the skin. I like Tanzzo after sun cream the most – it really nourishes my skin and absorbs quickly.
4. Distribute the spray evenly over the body and rub the residue with a sponge. I personally cover the body first. I tackle the arm and the foot at the end
5. When I feel like I’ve covered my whole body, I take another shower and apply a second coat. I check my feet and hands to see if I have covered every part of my body for any spots.
6. I take a shower again and the process is over.
When I wear a self-tanning spray for a few days, I gradually start to get spots on certain parts of my body. If I’m in a hurry and I just can’t repeat the whole process. I take the spray and apply the product only where the spots appear. Here I have to be extremely careful to completely smear the product well. However, if I have enough time, I start removing tanned skin first. Ohhhh… I think all of you who have already encountered this know that it is difficult to find a product on the market that could easily completely remove tanned skin. For quite a few years I had trouble finding the best product. I also found quite a few homemade alternatives on the websites that are supposed to help remove tan. For me personally, this didn’t work at all.
I was most pleased with tan removal cream from walmart so far. I was quite surprised because I’m used to this phrase: »good things cost are more expensive«. I remember the day I had a tanning cream washed off on some parts of my body. And in the afternoon I got a call from a friend to go to a birthday party. Ooooo gosh, now what? My skin looked very weird with some spots on some parts of my body. That day I had no choice but to drive to the store and try the tan removal cream. I took at least 5 creams at the store, of course, because I wasn’t sure if this really works and which cream removes tanned skin the most. Well, to cut a long story short – the first cream already worked so I didn’t need to use or try the next 4 creams at all. The cream I used was SELF-TAN remover by BRONZE TAN.
How do you remove your tan? Did any natural method worked for you or do you simply use a tan removal cream? Let me know so that I can maybe try your method 😉
Happy tanning girls.

Best spray tan for dry skin

Best spray tan for dry skin

Hello, sunflowers 🌻

If your skin is a bit dry, but you crave a smooth and even tan, you’ve come to the right place!
Are you’re dreaming of a summer or winter glow but the heat or cold just turned your skin into a nightmare, or your natural skin type is a little drier than others – don’t worry!
I’ve gathered together all of my top tips for self-tanning dry skin.

How many of you have already encountered dry skin? Are you one of those who often have dry skin? I got the driest skin in the summer probably due to the sea and heat and salty water. Nevertheless, I still used products that were not suitable for my skin. I mean, what girl doesn’t want tanned skin in the summer? At the time, I didn’t care about my skin, the important thing was that I had a nice tanned complexion.
Yeah I know, I wasn’t exactly smart. 😂

Somehow it wasn’t until this summer that I started taking more care of my skin and looking for products that would be appropriate. Since I still wanted nicely tanned skin, I was looking for products that wouldn’t further dry out my skin, but I would still get a nice complexion. Because I am one of the people who have paler skin and I don’t want to expose myself to the sun too much in the summer, I have been using fake tan for many years. As I mentioned, I didn’t pay too much attention to my skin for few years, so I just used any fake tan I got at the store. However, this year because my skin was so dry in the early summer, I decided to do a little research about the fake tan on the website and which one would be best for my dry skin.
Getting a fake tan with sprays/creams or foams is the healthiest way to get a tanned complexion. It is true that this also has its disadvantages, but the main plus is that you do not have to deal with the dangerous sun rays that can cause skin cancer.

How does a spray tan/creams or foams work?
The process is very simple. A thin mist is sprayed or applied onto the desired areas of skin, and the skin turns into a natural-looking shade of tan. The process works because of a chemical called Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). … When they come into contact, the skin cells become several shades darker. The positive effects of tanning creams/sprays,.. are that they are suitable for all skin types. But you have to choose the right product for your skin. Some further dry out the skin, some further moisturize the skin. If you have oily skin and use a product that additionally moisturizes the skin, you will most likely be able to get additional skin imperfections. I have very dry skin, so I have to choose a foam that moisturizes the skin or foam that does not dry out the skin even more.
The most important thing for dry skin is to prepare it well before tanning. Well, this is of course important for any skin type.

I start with a slightly longer warm bath first. Maybe that’s also an excuse for me for some relaxing me-time. Then, of course, I start with the usual procedure when applying self-tanning cream. First I take care of a good body peeling, and after the peeling, a moisturizer is very important. Why? Moisturizing cream for dry skin is especially important. You really need to choose a cream that will further nourish your skin. I personally use Tanzzo after sun cream. Then when I moisturize my skin really well I use a tanning foam.
And finally, a product that I have been using for a few years and that I am really happy with.

My favorite self-tanning foam/cream is »Isle of Paradise Glow Clear Self-Tanning Mousse in Medium.« I discovered the product quite by accident on the website while browsing for »Best spray tan for dry skin«.
I recommend it to everyone regardless of her skin type. I think it is more important for dry type of skin how you nourish the skin or prepare it for self-tanning. For skin preparation, I definitely recommend Tanzzo after-sun cream. I will also be very happy for your response, which product was the best for you or which one you use the most.
I wish you a pleasant use of self-tanning cream/spray or foam but remember, however, that it is very important to nourish the skin even more if you have dry skin.
XOXO

Does Sunscreen Ruin Fake Tan?

Does sunscreen actually ruin a fake tan?

Firstly, before we talk about sunscreen and fake tan, we need to discuss why it’s beneficial to wear sunscreen. It is important to use it because it definitely does protect your skin. The sun emits UVA and UVB rays, which can have harmful effects on the skin. So if you use your sunscreen, it reduces signs of aging, protects the skin from painful sunburns, and even reduces the risk of skin cancer. Sunscreens are the best thing we have when it comes to fighting the sun’s harmful effects.
People believe, that darker skin, which is a result of fake tan, can protect you from the sun so much, that you don’t need to wear sunscreen anymore. This is simply not true. Even though your skin is a bit darker, it can only protect you to a certain extent. So in that sense, skipping sunscreen after you’ve already got a tan is a big no. Don’t be fooled and give your skin what it needs protection!
You might object and say that some fake tans will protect your skin with your ingredients. But still, that is not enough. Some of the skin-protecting effects of the fake tan will soon wear out and you will need protection again. So sunscreen is definitely essential for our skin.
And now to the topic of today’s blog post.

Does sunscreen actually ruin a fake tan? Yes, a fake tan can definitely interfere with how your fake tan will turn out. One of the first things to know is definitely the fact that it depends on the sunscreen you use. Some sunscreens could end up shortening the life of your spray tan due to the ingredients that they contain. But don’t worry, there are some steps you can take, so it doesn’t affect your fake tan all that much.
First, you need to give your fake tan time to settle in. It is recommended to wait at least 12-24 hours after you apply it. If you will apply it before that you may risk your fake tan getting smudged. Applying sunscreen before your fake tan sets could also result in fading and patchiness.
Secondly, don’t forget to moisturize your skin. It is more likely for moisture to improve how your fake tan looks and it will also prevent issues with the sunscreen. Regular application of SPF with a moisturizing effect will help maintain your tan. Hydration is essential for a long-lasting tan.
Thirdly, use a sunscreen that is compatible with your fake tan. It is beneficial to look at some of the reviews and find sunscreens, which have fewer chances of ruining your perfect tan. Do some research and find the best combo. But in general, look for sunscreens with labels “oil-free” and “alcohol-free”.
So there you go, some tips on how to prevent your sunscreen from ruining your fake tan. But now, we need to look in another direction. There is another risk, which is important, that we address. The biggest problem, when it comes to sunscreen and fake tan is not smudging and patchiness, but it’s how fake tan affects sunscreen’s efficacy.
Fake tanning products work with a chemical DHA. It works by making a reaction at your upper skin cells and changing their pigment. Sadly, UVA filters, which are present in sunscreens react to DHA, which results in UVA filters not working very efficiently. So actually, when it comes to fake tan and sunscreen, we are blaming sunscreen for messing things up, but believe it or not, it’s fake tan, which is making more harm than sunscreen.
Personally, I use Tanzzo tanning cream in the summer, because it helps me get tanned faster, so it’s not fake tan, but an actual tan accelerator. I absolutely love it, but sometimes I use fake tan as well, just because I don’t always have time to lay in the sun and get a tan. I usually do my tan late in the afternoon and stay out of the sun for that period of time. Then I go to bed and apply my sunscreen in the morning, just before I go out. I also make sure to drink a lot of water, to keep my skin hydrated. What I think is essential… Moisturizing your skin every single day. I noticed, that if I apply a moisturizer every day, my tan will last much longer and it will even look much better. I make sure to use an oil-free moisturizer and to also try and stay away from saunas and long showers, which can also make tan fade away quicker.
Be smart when using fake tan and sunscreen together.

Do tanning creams for sunbeds work?

Do tanning creams for sunbeds work?
Personally, I love tanning outside. But in the colder months, I always visit salons to use sunbeds, which give me a perfect tan. What my followers always ask me is if tanning creams work for sunbeds as well. As you know, I love using tanning creams, which accelerate your tan.
Sunbeds emit ultraviolet radiation to produce a cosmetic tan. I believe you all know what a good feeling it is to be laying down in a sunbed and enjoying time for yourself. I think it’s important to take time and give yourself some love. I know I feel great after tanning in the colder months or when I am getting a pre-tan before going on vacation. I love it!
But before going to your chosen solarium, it is essential to prep your skin, so your skin can receive all of the advantages from using a sunbed. I am going to take you through some of the steps that I do, to prepare myself for tanning in a sunbed and also explain, how you can use tanning creams for better results.

Exfoliate your skin

– Do not skip this step, it is essential if you want to take complete advantage of the time in the sunbed. By exfoliating, you will remove the dead skin cells and make your skin ready to be tanned. The UV will hit your skin more easily if you prep it that way before tanning.

Hydration and moisture

– Dry skin is unhappy skin. Even when it comes to tanning in a solarium. Make sure you drink lots of water during the day, before and after tanning, so your skin stays moisturized. You can also use moisturizers before going to a tanning salon, so your skin will be nourished. I always take my reusable water bottle with me, so I would say I’m good at drinking a lot of water. BUT I am extra mindful of how much I drink especially when I have an appointment in the solarium.

Use a tanning cream

– Tanning creams are beneficial because of two reasons: they keep your skin moisturized, which is perfect for skin, but also they help with melanin production, which helps you get a darker tan much faster. Not using a tanning lotion will also lead to drying skin, collagen loss, and a loss of elasticity in the skin, overall giving a dull, unhealthy appearance. All of these tanning creams are formulated in a way, which will help you get darker faster. I personally use Tanzzo cream and I am very happy with it.

Remove makeup

– Makeup is not welcome here. Every though you like wearing your makeup, remove it before using a sunbed because it will decrease your chances of getting the tan that you want. In the worst-case scenario, makeup can react to UV light and cause skin allergies. In the beginning, I used to hate this, because I just felt so much more comfortable with my makeup on but girl, let me tell you, it’s worth it! Oh, I almost forgot! It is also not recommended to have perfume sitting on your skin while tanning.

Have a good diet

– Eat foods that are linked to healthier skin. It has been shown that eating mangos, peaches, tomatoes, apricots, and carrots contain carotene, which can increase your skin’s pigmentation. I have to admit, I was struggling with that a lot. But now I just try my best and nourish my skin not only with tanning creams and other preparations but with food as well. We are what we eat, so if you want nourished tanned skin, eat nourishing foods. It is that simple.

Skin shaving or waxing

– After tanning, DON’T shave or wax. If you do, you are working in the opposite direction. It can remove the layer of your tanned skin, so this is not what you want. This is something I never did, but nevertheless, I am exposing it here because I know some of my besties still do it. Don’t do it fam, it won’t do you any good.

And now… Tanning creams. I already wrote some essentials in this post. But, do they truly help with getting tanned in a sunbed? Yes, they are proven to have an effect on your tanning ability. These amazing products rejuvenate your skin and keep it much healthier. And what happens when our skin is healthy? You tan faster, last longer, and are more beautiful. Did you know that it takes 6 minutes for UV rays to penetrate dry skin, and only 30 seconds when your skin is moisturized? Get the most out of your sunbed session and always use a lotion. When using a great tanning cream in the sunbed, you can actually save time and money and get better results compared to an instance when you don’t use a tanning cream.
So in the end… Tanning creams work in sunbeds as well.

Tanning Lotion For Sunbeds

Tanning Lotion For Sunbeds

Tanning Lotion For Sunbeds – Which is the best and how to apply it?

I don’t know why, but I’ve always felt better in my body in the summer when I was more tanned. I have always had extremely pale skin that barely tans in the sun. From a young age, summer tanned skin has been my go-to for a confidence boost. If I’m happy with my appearance then I feel like I have a more positive attitude throughout the day. True self-confidence to me means being happy in your own skin and having the ability to encourage others to feel the same. In the summer clothes looked nicer on me, I didn’t use makeup and I felt like I looked more glowy.

I once read that there is actually some sort of connection between a tanned complexion and well-being. Exposure to UV rays actually releases endorphins in the body. Endorphins release that ”feel good” emotion in our bodies. Along with endorphins, vitamin D which is something that our bodies obtain from the sun is said to help us with that good mood boost.

But unfortunately, I can’t lay on the beaches of Maui throughout the whole year, so I decided to visit the sunbed salon a few times a year. Due to the nature of my skin, my tanned complexion disappears very quickly. And guess what, I found a solution. The solution is called Tanning lotion.

Creams and lotions for boosting up your tanning process are NOT self-tanning creams. This means that if you want to get a beautiful tanned complexion with the help of a cream or lotion you still need to be exposed to the sun’s rays.

Tanning lotions, such as Tanzzo’s, contain specific ingredients that are absorbed into the skin to encourage the movement of melanocytes to the surface of the skin, maximising the tanning potential of your session.

Do you know that by using tanning creams and lotions you can get a deeper tan that lasts longer? YUUP, that’s true! Tanning creams or tanning lotions are specially designed to enhance and accelerate the tanning process. The most important thing is that you can find ingredients that maintain your skin’s moisture.

It is not a secret that moist skin tans better, since it absorbs a greater percentage of UV light. UV light is responsible for the production of melanin and ”browning” of your skin colour. Listen to this, I was amazed when I found that out. It takes 5-6 minutes for UV rays to penetrate dry skin and only 30 seconds when you are moisturised. What?!

But first, you need to prep your skin and EXFOLIATION is the key! It is really important to thoroughly exfoliate before sunbathing on the beach or starting a UV tanning programme in a sunbed. Exfoliating before a UV programme means that you are tanning new skin cells, not dead cells that are due to be sloughed off. A patchy tan result is due to not exfoliating in the majority of cases!

In general, it is beneficial if you implement exfoliation in your regular skincare. Although I am aware of this, sometimes I forget myself… The purpose of exfoliation is actually to remove dead cells from the top layer of your skin. Its main function is to remove excess cells that your body no longer needs. Exfoliation causes new, healthy cells to come to the surface.

We know several different types of exfoliations. The most common are mechanical, chemical and enzymatic. Chemical exfoliation is the most invasive, so there is never too much caution! I suggest that you first consult your dermatologist, who will tell you what is best for your skin. My favourite so far is mechanical exfoliations, because they not only remove dead cells, but also have sooo many other benefits for your skin. They help to clean your pores and improve the appearance and circulation of your skin. It is easy to use, which is another reason why I love it myself. You can easily include it in your weekly routine.

And what’s best is that you can make it yourself with ingredients you find in your kitchen.

If you have no idea what to incorporate in your scrub… I GOT YOU BABE! Here is one simple recipe for an easy homemade scrub.

Recipe:

1/4 cup honey

1 tbsp white or brown sugar

2 tbsp yoghurt

½ tsp lemon

Mix together and gently scrub onto skin for 30 seconds, then rinse with warm water.

Whether is summer or winter you can still maintain a beautiful tan that boosts your confidence. It doesn’t matter if you sunbathe on the beach or in sunbeds, as long as you prep the skin and create the perfect canvas for your glowy tan.

Inspirational daily quote:

Review your goals twice every day in order to be focused on achieving them.

Can You Put Tanning Lotion On Your Face

can you put tanning lotion on your face

Summer is practically here, and your skin doesn’t look nicely sunburned yet? Nothing serious! You can also create a beautiful and naturally tanned complexion in other ways. As a sun goddess, you can shine with the help of tanning lotion. The lotion is not only a solution for your body, but you can also apply it to your face. The self-tanning body and face lotion allows your skin to glow in a bronze hue throughout the year, as it is composed of skin-friendly ingredients that will nourish your skin, strengthen it and help it gain a natural and tanned complexion. It is the perfect product for the perfect look of a radiant, tanned complexion that conjures up a bronze complexion without orange spots. It provides an even and long-lasting complexion, and you will be able to enjoy the beach, at home, traveling, partying or anywhere else without worries. The advantage of the lotion is that it is absorbed extremely quickly, is light, and does not leave a greasy feeling on the skin, in addition, it also covers small imperfections on the skin, so the complexion looks really radiant and beautiful. With tanning lotion, you can increase micro-circulation and oxygenation to stimulate the melanin cells that produce your tan and soften and smooth dry or rough skin. It also helps prevent the signs of aging associated with tanning.

Tanning oil is also suitable for use on the face, as it can become a great aid in daily facial skincare, even several times a day. Studies say that it is recommended to reach the frequency and amount according to the desired intensity of skin color. Tanning oil helps equalizes uneven skin tone, and application is smooth and very pleasant to your skin. You will hardly notice the smell of the oil, as it is very mild. Many people wonder before use if tanning oil is suitable for people with extremely light skin. The answer is YES! The oil is also suitable for very light skin because it provides moderate skin color. For a stronger and more visible effect of skin discoloration, we recommend a more frequent application. Before applying the product, you have to dry your skin. You can also use a brush made especially for tanning oil because it helps using less product and spreads the product around a larger amount of area evenly. When applying self-tanner, you have to massage it into the skin in a circular motion for better effect.

In addition to the already mentioned advantages of using tanning oil, the advantages are that by using the oil on your face, you will achieve a pleasantly youthful tan and attractive appearance, and the oil will not oil your skin. The mist also dries extremely quickly after application, so you can enjoy the natural look immediately after use.

The oil is suitable for all people who want to tan in an easy way that is not dangerous, it is suitable for all skin types, even for skin that is very sensitive. The best thing about the use itself is that you do not need a fake tan for a natural and beautiful tan, thus avoiding blemishes and other inconveniences. Because the ingredients in tanning oil are mostly natural, your skin will be pleasantly regenerated and protected, and the antioxidant ingredients protect against the formation of harmful radicals and other substances. All the ingredients will help your skin stay hydrated, soften it and help it heal faster from acne, which often occurs when exposed to the sun. It has countless benefits when it comes to your skin because it is packed with various antioxidants and vitamins that repair the skin and the anti-inflammatory properties of the oil can prevent acne from surfacing in the first place.

If you want an immediate tan effect, one of the options is to use a lotion or oil and a tanning bed. However, you must be very careful, as your skin, especially your face, is more sensitive, so you should consult a specialist who works in such a salon before using it. You will still want your face to have a beautiful golden glow that matches the rest of your body, but you have to be extremely careful so that you won’t have burns or suffer from red, painful skin after the tanning session. The key to a tanning bed is preparation. You have to exfoliate your skin the day before going into a tanning bed, avoid using makeup, use a pre-tan accelerator, which helps your skin tan more during the session while keeping it moisturized and hydrated at the same time, and most important: wear goggles during your tanning session! The use of a tanning lotion or oil before tanning bed is highly recommended, as the effect of tanned skin will last longer, and you will also nourish your skin. Using lotion or oil in a tanning bed helps you speed up the tanning process, it adds nutrients to your skin and protects your skin from premature aging.

Glow and enjoy the summer without worries!
